Step 10: Cover Photos

Your cover is the wide banner that sits across the top of your public profile — the first thing a buyer sees before they read a single word about you. Add one or more images here and they appear as a full-width banner; add several and buyers can swipe through them.

Optional — skip it and the banner simply does not appear; add one and it sets the tone instantly

Where Your Cover Shows Up

Covers render as a wide 16:9 banner at the very top of your profile, so landscape images fit best — a tall portrait photo will be cropped. Upload more than one and they turn into a swipeable carousel. Like your portfolio images, covers upload straight from your device.

What Makes a Cover Work

Your own work — finished projects, event setups, or real client results

Sharp and high-resolution — it is shown large, so softness is obvious

Clearly tied to what you do, not a generic backdrop or landscape

Wide framing — leave room on the sides so nothing important sits at the very edge

Cover Ideas by Category

CategoryCover photo ideas
Construction & Home ServicesA finished project — a remodeled kitchen, a clean installation, or a landscaped yard
Events & EntertainmentA beautifully set venue, a decorated stage, or a lively shot from an event you ran
Business & ConsultingA clean, professional workspace or a simple branded visual that signals expertise

Important

Stock photos are easy to spot and quietly signal that the rest of the profile might not be original either. A real photo of your own work always beats a polished stock image.

Best Practice

Reach for one of your portfolio images first. It is the most honest choice, and it previews exactly what buyers will find when they scroll down. You can always swap or add covers later from your profile editor.
